GW 24: Tottenham vs. Watford

After FA and League cup action, midweek games are back as Tottenham vs. Watford looks to be the most interesting match of gameweek 24. Both teams have been very good over the course of the season as Tottenham sit in 3rd whereas Watford sit just outside the top 6 in 7th, however, there is a massive 18 point difference between the sides. This overall form has been carried into both teams last few games as Watford are unbeaten in their last 4, admittedly with 3 draws, while Tottenham have won 4 of their last 6. GW 24: Wolves vs. Liverpool

Wolves vs. Liverpool Wolves have become the Premier League’s giant killers ever since their promotion at the start of the 18/19 campaign, and at the moment there’s no bigger giant in world football than Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. The Reds are currently both European and world champions while they come into this midweek fixture with a 16 point lead at the summit of the Premier League table. In short, they’ve become imperious. After 22 matches, they remain undefeated in the league, having gained 64 points from a possible 66. They are well on course to finish the season with a record number of points, and could even go unbeaten. However, they certainly won’t have it easy in their next league match. GW 15: Watford vs. Manchester City

During the first set of midweek fixtures Watford come up against the unstoppable Manchester City. Both of these teams are incredibly talented and they have both shown their class throughout the season. Man City of course are still top of the table on a total of 38 points winning 12 and drawing only 2 while Watford have moved down to 10th place on 20 points. Man City’s record against Watford should be very encouraging for the reigning champions as they have won their last 8 matches against this  Watford side. Also, City are in scintillating form as they have scored at least 3 goals and each of their last 4 matches and have a total goal tally of 43, averaging more than 3 a game. Watford have conceded a total of 19 goals and will definitely find it difficult to shut out this City side, who have 2 or more goals in their last 8 appearances against the Hornets.
